I’m currently sitting on the bus back home. This ‘’paper’’ is written literally, firstly on a piece of paper, only to be later passed in my Microsoft Word and then be finalized as an article draft for the site.
As I watch over my window, the long road and it’s many lights I reflect on the past, counting my blessings and with the help of coffee ( a no-no for me in most cases), I’m able to bring in memory all the things I aimed to have and now have. Things as simple as a new video camera to record videos for our YouTube page, or a new phone to operate our social media feed. This covers a portion of materialistic things.
I have a team of people to help build this website and inspire me to work hard and smart to expand Papers Of Thought. I have my mental and physical health, my work and a ton of goals I want to realize. Traits that I work and take care every single day.
Yet there is still so much work to be done. In all fronts. So much patience to master and dedication to show. In spite of all that we should never forget all that we have and reflect on our past. To be grateful is to be free to all change that has come and to all change that is to come.
To be grateful is to be free to all the change that has come and to all the change that is yet to come.
To all the people you meet, the relationships you built, the experience you’ve earned. It is the important to be thankful for all the ”bad stuff” as well. The mistakes you’ve made, the failures you sew and the tragedy you’ve witnessed. Life is a series of calculated and non-calculated events brought forth by the supreme forces of one’s being and the universe that surrounds us all.
Once more as I sit on this bus and the article is being written after a nine month hiatus I will reflect and be grateful for all that I learned, all that I was taught from the people & the circumstances I was lucky and strong enough to endure and all that is to come through trial and error, convenience and glory.
As I close this ”comeback’’ article I invite you to reflect on all that you have. It is of no use to be bitter about the past or anxious about the future. This comes from the horse’s mouth, from a man who tries to master his flaw of anxiety and stress over his potential.
Here I sit and recognize that this is no flaw. It is a part of who I am. I’m grateful for that. Do the same. Be grateful for you.
The people you met & will meet.
The things you see and the things you make others see through you.
Be grateful for where you are and where you can be.
Realize your potential.
Realize the potential of the circumstances around you.
Own your mistakes and own it all.
Be grateful for it.
